  21.               This package will patch a doom.wad ver1.2 so that it is
  22.               compatible with DOOM ver1.6b.  Simply extract the files in a
  23.               directory containing the shareware DOOM ver1.6b and copy the
  24.               ver1.2 doom.wad into that directory as well.  Then read the 
  25.               readme.txt file for futher instructions.  This fix will allow
  26.               you to play all the episodes of doom as well as play 
  27.               Deathmatch, Deathmatch 2.0, load external wads, and 
  28.               record multi-player lmp's.

  31. Restrictions : This fix will only fix a registered version of Doom ver1.2 to
  32.                a Doom ver1.6b mostly compatible (there are a few trivial bugs)
  33.                doom.wad file.  You must already have the shareware version of
  34.                Doom ver1.6b installed in a separate directory as well as the
  35.                Doom ver1.2 registered wad file.
